Greg began his surveying career as an engineering aide for the California Department of Water Resources in 1966. After three years of learning the basics, he moved to Idaho and worked a couple of years in municipal type of surveying for the City of Boise and the Ada County Highway District.
Several years of working in the private sector for JUB Engineering and CH2M-Hill doing boundary surveys, subdivision layout, construction staking and related tasks, eventually led to Greg obtaining a professional surveyor license in 1978.
He then opened his own land surveying business in 1982 in Middleton and worked out of his home for several years. The business went through a couple transformations before finally becoming Skinner Land Survey Co. Inc. in 1997.
He moved to Grangeville, Idaho in 2003, where he acquired a small land surveying business. He still lives there and operates that business. Greg has developed a proven method for getting surveys done quickly, but accurately. His goal has always been to provide excellent service at a reasonable cost.
In his free time Greg likes to re-load ammo, hunt and shoot his long bow.
He is the contact for surveys needed in North Central Idaho.

After working many different jobs, TJ was introduced to surveying in May 2005, where he found his niche. TJ quickly learned the tricks of the trade under Greg Skinner's tutelage. He graduated from Idaho State University in the Spring of 2012 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geomatics Technology. After graduation, TJ was immediately certified as a Land Surveyor Intern, having already passed the Fundamentals of Surveying Exam in the Fall of 2011.
In October 2012, TJ passed both the state of Idaho surveying exam and the national, 8 hour, Principles and Practices of Surveying exam, and became a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor. In June 2014, he took and passed the Oregon State exam, therefore receiving a license from Oregon as well.
TJ loves his job and always strives to get clients exactly what they need in a timely manner and at a low cost. In his free time, TJ likes to spend time with his wife and 7 kids. He also enjoys raising cows, camping, hunting and 4-wheeling.
TJ has managed the Southern Idaho area operations since 2007 and is the contact for clients in Idaho and Oregon.
